I don't know how to make nether portals work.

For some reason whenever I enter the portal back into the normal world it keeps going to some random place instead of the spot that I originally made it and I don't know why. Does anyone know why it does this because I have no idea.

Uhhh, not sure. I've always entered the same place whenever I made one.

Well I dunno it kinda happened like this... (Not exactly like this but close enough)

Long story short. I couldn't find any Netherrack in the Nether and there's a giant tower of Obsidian gates floating above the ocean because I kept trying to fix my gate.

Also I was playing on Easy difficulty.

I did manage to fix the gate eventually using OP status... I had to reposition every single block we placed in the nether to fix it.


Why is it so hard to find Netherrack in the Nether? There's none of it in a 360 degree area as far as I can see.
