Have we had a desktop thread yet? I hope not but it's 5AM here so I'm slightly delusional!

Anyway, here's my desktop. Yes, all the buttons *are* clickable.

yeaaah we know....been trying that, his FME won't pick up the stereo mixer as an audio device

Then use Virtual Audio Cable. Stereo Mix turned to be quite buggy for whatever reason... wonder if it's just programmed that way?

Have you tried virtual audio cable? It lags my computer up like crazy, and me and wolf had a hard time getting it installed as well.
And naah, my stereo mixer works fine, I was trying to have Golden use the same one I was using

Hmm... for a fact yeah, I have tried using VAC and it works wonders, I think it works for Parky and many others too. Just because it lags YOUR computer doesn't mean it won't work for others, let them give it a try. Wolf had a hard time too I know, but I have no idea why, maybe he downloaded a bad version or the trial version.
Also, if you're using W7 it's easier to do it since you don't even need the Audio Repeater, you can just set it from your Audio Settings on Control Panel, which saves a LOT of resources and it's faster. I have tried using it on a MiniLaptop (my sister's) and it worked without any problem, which surprised me since it's a really weak Laptop and having WXP I had to use the Audio Repeater.
I don't really trust Stereo Mix since it randomly stops working for no apparent reason (as not recording your voice anymore, lowering the input audio volume like... a lot, going LOLNO when you want to use it with another program) so yeah... my trust is not with the Stereo Mix.
Ok wallotext is over, let him try the VAC since his SM won't work and maybe it will work with him, if it doesn't you can add another one to your list of people who hate VAC, everybody wins

and I'm not using W7, and I'm also surprised, I didn't even know Parky tried it, and my computers way better then his, also....by audio mixer I meant it to record computer sound....not voice/mic

Anyway, I didn't mean it as "severe" I'm sorry if it turned out like that, I'm just saying to let other people try it before going "It lags and doesn't work", it turned out pretty big because of the tech thingy about the audio settings since it's what I used to do when streaming.

but alright, I admit my mistake was assuming it without knowing.

Also, I envy your SM Teka, on all the pc's I've had, if I try using it to record pc audio and mic, I have to turn down A LOT the volume for everything in order to be able to hear the mic sound in the recording. Lucky you don't have to use 3rd party programs :<

But I looked into it more, maybe it was old? I found this, I'm gonna try figuring it out more then helping Golden with it, unleeeeeess you know how to fiddle with its settings?
